The mall will open its doors for the first time to the public from 8 a.ms. to 6 p.ms., Friday.
The mall will be open on Monday, May 26.
The first day will be Saturday, May 27.
The Mall will open for business at 7:30 am on Saturday, July 6.
All stores will close from 8:15 a.me. to 4:15 p.me., Monday.
The following day, all stores will open at 5:15 pm, Monday.
On Sunday, July 7, all restaurants will close, including the main dining area, from 8 p.mo. to 5:30 pm, Saturday, Sept. 9.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency will inspect the Canadian Food Corporation’s retail food stores at the mall.
The city of Ottawa will begin the process of closing down the mall on Monday.
All malls are expected to reopen on Monday morning.
The federal government has committed $5.3 million to the Shawnee Mall.
The health and safety of Canadians remains a top priority for the provincial government.
On Friday, Shawnee Community Health and Safety confirmed that a man who was infected with coronaviruses in southern Ontario died Friday morning.
According to a news release, the man contracted coronaviral illness during the outbreak, and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
He died a short time later.
The man was identified as 51-year-old Paul Sauer, of Ottawa.
He was the sixth person to contract the coronavids since January.
The death was confirmed Friday morning by the provincial health agency.
